NEEDHAM - It’s the past that shapes the present, a notion that isn’t lost on the members of the Needham High girls varsity lacrosse team.

No strangers to postseason success, the Rockets have earned a reputation as one of the state’s better programs in recent years.

“They value the program and the success that Needham has worked hard for,” said Needham coach Beth O’Brien, now in her 13th season with the Rockets.
