Dominique Badji scored in the 52nd minute to send the Colorado Rapids past the New England Revolution 1-0 in the season opener for both teams Saturday at Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

Dillon Powers' service was headed off the left post by Kevin Doyle, and the ball was popped up by Jared Watts before Badji headed it in from the left side of the box. Watts was awarded the assist.

Colorado has not lost at home in 18 consecutive regular-season matches, their last defeat in Commerce City a 1-0 setback against the Montreal Impact on Oct. 10, 2015.
