NORTON, Mass. -- England's Paul Casey and Argentina's Fabian Gomez shared the clubhouse lead early Friday afternoon after firing 5-under-par 66s on day one of the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston.
Kevin Chappell was a shot back in solo third following his completed round. Olympic champion and world No. 10 Justin Rose of England, Jerry Kelly and Australia's Marc Leishman are all two off the pace in a tie for fourth.
Casey, No. 30 in the world, sank eight birdies -- including seven on 10 holes from Nos. 9-18 -- opposite three bogeys.
