Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand won her third straight LPGA tournament, firing a 5-under par 67 in Sunday's final round to finish at 15-under 273 and claim victory at the inaugural Volvik Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The 20-year-old is the first player ever to win her first three LPGA events. Inbee Park of South Korea was the last player on tour to capture three consecutive wins in 2013.
"I (got) a little bit excited before this round," Jutanugarn said, "but (on the) back nine I just (felt) like I'm going to do what's under my control."
