OAKMONT, Pa. -- Henrik Stenson of Sweden withdrew from the 116th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club on Saturday morning, citing minor injuries.
"Minor neck and knee issues, nothing major," Stenson said on his Twitter account.
Stenson, 40, said he hopes to be ready to play by next weekend. The Quicken Loans National is the next PGA event from June 23-26 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
