Alyssa Thomas' put-back layup with 0.6 seconds remaining helped the Connecticut Sun snap their six-game losing streak with a 77-76 win over the Seattle Storm on Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Thomas had 15 points while Morgan Tuck scored 20 for Connecticut (2-7), which was off to its worst start in franchise history.
Sue Bird scored a season-high 24 points and had eight assists as Seattle (3-6) lost its second straight game.
