A resurgent New England Revolution squad will be put to the test Saturday against red-hot Erick "Cubo" Torres and the Houston Dynamo at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
Torres, a 24-year-old Mexican forward, leads MLS in scoring with six goals for Houston (3-1-0), which trails the Portland Timbers by a point for first place in the Western Conference.
Three of those goals came last Saturday in the Dynamo's 4-1 win over the New York Red Bulls, earning him MLS Player of the Week honors. Torres is the first player in club history to score in four consecutive matches.
