SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb share a one-shot lead at 9-under-par 131 heading into Sunday at the 98th PGA Championship, but neither set foot on the course Saturday as thunderstorms drowned out the afternoon wave at Baltusrol Golf Club.
The two Americans were the last of 43 groups scheduled to begin Saturday's third round, but their 2:55 p.m. ET tee time was wiped out once play was suspended at 2:14 p.m. Thirty seven players have completed their third rounds, with 49 players left with unsigned scorecards.
"Kind of a long day trying to figure out what to do," Streb said. "Obviously the course looks like it is unplayable. Everything is underwater, regardless of whether the lightning stopped."
